WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
Candidates are invited for recruitment to the following temporary post in the project entitled "Systematic Documentation of Traditional Knowledge Related to Plants Used for Food and AYUSH & Indigenous Medicine" sanctioned to KSCSTE by Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, to be operated at JNTBGRI (Project Code – A 114).
1.Research Associate (Computer Science). -1
Age 28 yrs
Qualification - MCA, MSc IT or MSc Computer Science with minimum 55%, from a recognized university (regular course) with minimum 6 months experience in Database preparation/ management and software development.
Pay-Scale - Rs. 15,000/- first year. Rs. 16,000/- second year.
2.Junior Research Fellow-1
Age - 28 yrs
Qualification - M.Sc. Botany/Plant Science with minimum 60% marks. Candidates should have good organizational and communication skill. Desirable – experience in field work related to Plant Taxonomy, Ethnobotany /Ethnomedicine, systematic documentation of Traditional Knowledge and preparation of database.
Pay-Scale - Rs. 12,000/- per month
3.Data entry operator
Vacancies – 1
Age - 28 yrs
Qualification - B.Sc. Computer Science/BCA with experience in data entry operation or B.Sc. Botany with PGDCA with experience in data entry operation from Govt. Institutions.-Rs. 8,000/- per month.
4.Driver-1
Age -28 yrs
Qualification - -7th Standard Valid driving license with endorsement to drive heavy vehicles -Rs. 8,000/- per month.
Age limit – calculated as on 1stJanuary 2012 (Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms). Interested candidates may appear for a Walk-in-Interview on 02/01/2012, 10 AM at Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanic Garden and Research Institute with application, updated CV, original and attested copies of certificates and mark lists and proof of age. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview
