Skills:

·         At least minimum 5 years of experience in SQL BI domain.

·         Relational database and ETL capabilities using MS SQL Server 2008 Business Intelligence Studio and SQL Server Management Studio

·         Installation, configuration & maintenance of MS SQL Server 2008/2005 for OLAP system.

·         SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) ability to design and develop reports

·         SQL Server Information Services (SSIS) ability to design and develop reports

·        Creating database T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, views, tables, indexes, constraints and user defined functions using MS SQL Server 2008/2005

·         Database Backup and Recovery

·         Performance Tuning and Database Consistency Checks using DBCC commands

·         Debugging Stored Procedures and Triggers, Troubleshooting database issues

·         Performance Monitor/Profiler to resolve Dead Locks or long running queries.

 

Preferred Experience

·         Power Shell scripting

·         MS SQL Clustering, Replication and Log Shipping

·         Migration from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008

·         C# or VB.Net
