Need  Network Security Positions SECURE END STATIONS

Location: ARIZONA

Duration : 6Months

Skills:

A familiarity with network devices such as routers switches, VPNs and firewalls.
• A Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP and Novell and host based firewalls

 Responsibilities
A minimum or two years of experience in a medium size environment (at least 500 workstations) creating and implementing endpoint security policy for company workstations and servers.
• Defines and implements information security strategies and procedures.
• Administers security policies to control access to systems.
• Uses industry best practices to secure end stations.
• Works to define and refine information security and systems management policies and settings.
• Monitors and assesses vendor and third party information security reports/lists.
• Evaluates new and emerging products, technologies and make recommendations to leadership concerning implementation of new technologies.
• Reviews, prioritizes and recommends information security improvements as they relate to the achievement of the customer's business goals and objectives.
• Executes security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing e-commerce programs.
• Researches attempted efforts to compromise security protocols.
• Maintains and publishes security policies for network devices such as routers and switches.
• Acts as a subject matter expert for management and reports regularly to management about the stae of endpoint security.
• Uses applicable encryption methods to secure end points.
• Provides information to leadership regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information
• Occasional travel to other company locations may be required
