Cloud Computing Engineer
Duration - 3-4 months contract.
Location – San Mateo, CA
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in implementing and maintaining
high-availability Linux compute clusters, web applications, and large
data sets on a cloud computing platform
- Jingle (It is a protocol used in Multimedia, VOIP etc…)
- Advanced knowledge of load balancing, clustering,
virtualization, performance management, system sizing and
configuration
- Cloud computing experience utilizing Amazon Web Services,
RackSpace, Opsource, Vmware, and the like
- Python, Ruby, and/or Java programming in Linux/Unix environment
- Working knowledge of MySQL and/or NoSQL data stores
- Familiarity with Hadoop/MapReduce with Pig and/or Hive is a plus
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- BS or MS or PhD in Computer Science or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in professional software
development and engineering
